Alaï is a musician and artist whose work emerges from her curiosity, intimacy, and reverence for the earth. Her musical path began after the organic success of her debut single, Curiosa (2024). Music has since become the heart of her practice.

Born in Panamá to Venezuelan parents, she’s planted roots in Southern California, where creativity continues to unfold. Her sonic work is accompanied by the objects she creates using earth-based materials as well as paintings in oil and watercolor.

Her years in community organizing as the founder of SuperPlay Gathering as well as the writing of her book, That’s Just Reality (2020), form the foundations of her practice - grounding her work as it continues to develop.
